Fines for advertising online tobacco sales and NCP

The Moscow City Duma has submitted to the State Duma a draft on fines of up to 300 thousand rubles for legal entities for distributing information on the remote sale of tobacco and nicotine-containing products on the Internet, the document is available in the Duma electronic database.

"The draft law proposes to establish responsibility for the dissemination of information on the remote sale of tobacco and nicotine-containing products on the Internet, providing for the possibility of imposing administrative fines on citizens in the amount of 3 thousand to 5 thousand rubles, on officials - from 20 thousand to 40 thousand rubles, on legal entities - from 100 thousand to 300 thousand rubles"- it is reported in the explanatory note to the project.

According to the documents, along with officials of Roskomnadzor, it is proposed to give officials of Rospotrebnadzor, as well as officials of Rosalkogoltabakcontrol, the authority to draw up protocols on administrative offenses.

"The adoption of this federal law will reduce online sales of tobacco and nicotine-containing products, which will be a preventive and preventive measure in the field of ensuring existing legislative requirements, restrictions and prohibitions in the sale of nicotine-containing products to minors," the note says.
