The activity of tenants of Moscow street retail in the third quarter of 2022 doubled compared to the same period last year. This is reported by experts of the company R4S. The number of rental transactions increased by 108%, while the volume of leased space increased by one and a half times.
At the end of the quarter, the activity of tenants decreased slightly against the background of a negative news agenda, experts say. Tobacco shops have become the most popular offer over the past three months - they accounted for 25% of transactions. The second place in the quarter was taken by coffee shops with 20.8%. The third place was shared by clothing stores and grocery stores, which received 8.3% each.
Among the street food establishments in the third quarter, not a single lease transaction was recorded. At the same time, this segment was the leader of the previous quarters in terms of the number of openings.
