The number of violations of the permit regime at checkpoints when selling water, tobacco, and other goods decreased several times in the fourth quarter of 2025 thanks to labeling. This was reported by the press service of Rospotrebnadzor.
"According to the results of the fourth quarter of 2025, the number of violations of the permit regime at checkpoints decreased: for packaged water — by 3.5 times, for dairy products — by 5 times, for tobacco — by 3 times, for dietary supplements and footwear — by 8 times, for antiseptics — by 35 times, for light industry goods — by 14 times, for perfumes and eau de toilette — by 10 times," the statement reads.
The agency added that since the beginning of 2026, the number of violations in the sale of tobacco, antiseptics, dietary supplements, packaged water, beer, and dairy products has also decreased.
The Head of Rospotrebnadzor, Anna Popova, emphasized the importance of continuing to carefully monitor all violations of the permit regime at checkpoints to further reduce the amount of counterfeit products.
