One of the effective methods of conducting research to assess the impact of pricing policy on consumer demand is surveys of consumers of nicotine-containing products, which are conducted according to a special list of questions in all federal districts of the Russian Federation.
As noted by Irina Bushina, Director of ANO NNCC, this study will reflect the current assortment and price preferences of consumers of nicotine-containing products. "Our experts will analyze the potential possible shifts in consumer demand towards illegal products during the study," said I. Bushina.
To assess the impact of excise policy on the structure of the nicotine-containing products market, the specialists of ANO NNCC conduct large-scale surveys of manufacturers, importers, distributors of nicotine-containing products and owners of retail outlets (tobacco shops, vapeshops, etc.). Experts have developed a list of questions, the answers to which will make it possible to form a forecast of changes in the supply structure with an increase in excise tax rates on nicotine-containing products.
