The President of the Russian Federation has submitted to the State Duma a bill on ratification of the agreement on the use of navigation seals in the EAEU.
The seals will be used in the movement of tobacco products both in transit and in mutual trade. Their use will make it possible to qualitatively improve the traceability of goods shipments on the territory of the EAEU and reduce the volume of smuggling. The importance of this step was discussed in the State Duma at the September meeting of the Expert Council on the Development of Competition in the markets of nicotine-containing products.
The deadline for submitting feedback, suggestions and comments on the draft law to the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs is until October 13.
