More than 30 illegal factories have been closed in Russia

In Russia, the work on combating counterfeiting is carried out systematically, we counteract all types of illegal product trafficking. This was announced today, September 26, during the plenary session of the International Forum "Anti-Counterfeit-2022" by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Vasily Shpak.

"The work of the State Commission and working groups made it possible to make many decisions regarding the regulation of differnt industries: the production of tobacco products, machine tires, medicines, and so on," he said.

V.Shpak spoke in more detail about the markinging of goods by means of identification, saying that according to the results of the introduction of markiing, there are a number of effects on the territory of Russia.

"The turnover of illegal tobacco products, perfumes, medicines, machine tires in the corridor decreased from 4% to 12%. Tobacco products — by 4%, machine tires — 12%, medicines — 5.6%, footwear products - 4%. After marking, 18 new previously unregistered productions appeared, more than 3 dozen illegal factories were closed, more than 180 productions were registered," he said.

According to Deputy Minister of Industry of the Russian Federation V.Shpak, the "Chestny Znak" system is actively used in the marking system, which was previously prepared for consumers, since it is possible to find out about the product and send data to government agencies, and then an application was prepared for government agencies.
