BAT Group announced today the conclusion of a deal to sell its business in Russia and Belarus.
After the completion of the transaction, approved by the subcommittee of the Government Commission for the Control of Foreign Investments in the Russian Federation, the consortium of Russian investors and local management of "BAT Russia" became the owner of the business in full, including production facilities and all trademarks currently used in Russia and Belarus. This structure will continue its successful work in these countries under the name "ITMS Group".
The result of this transformation will be a significant strengthening and expansion of positions in the industry, improvement of interaction between ITMS Group and SNS GC, uninterrupted supply of our consumers with high-quality products.
