Kamchatka Territory took the second place in terms of the number of cigarette packs sold — during the year, residents of the region bought 118.9 thousand packages. Slightly fewer packs were purchased by Russians living in the Nizhny Novgorod region — 118 thousand packages were sold there during the year. Sakhalin Oblast (108.1 thousand) and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (102.3 thousand) took the fourth and fifth places in the rating.

In addition to these regions, the Komi Republic (95.7 thousand), Murmansk Oblast (93.6 thousand), Karelia (92.3 thousand), Nenets Autonomous Okrug (86.2 thousand) and St. Petersburg entered the rating.-St. Petersburg (82.3 thousand).

Residents of the Magadan region bought cigarettes more often than Russians from other regions. (707.1 packs per 1 thousand adult residents). Tobacco-free mixtures for hookahs are most popular among residents of the Belgorod region. Petersburgers are more likely than other Russians to purchase smoking tobacco. Pipes are mostly smoked in Moscow — an average of 13.1 packs of pipe tobacco per 1,000 residents were bought there over the year. Chewing tobacco is most popular among residents of the Tyumen region.

The Magadan region, according to the " Chestny ZNAK ", became the leader in the number of packs of cigarettes sold in the third quarter of 2022. Nizhny Novgorod region then took second place. In the first half of the year, the region took first place in the number of cigarettes purchased, followed by St. Petersburg and Krasnodar Territory.
