From October 1, 2024, the rules for labeling tobacco products will change.

According to the new rules of the organization, when registering in the labeling system, the code of the reason for registration at the place of activity must be indicated.

Individual entrepreneurs will indicate the global unique identifier of the address object in the federal information address system in the application for registration.

The list of information specified in the notification on the withdrawal of tobacco and nicotine-containing products from circulation on non-retail grounds is also being expanded.

In the notification, you will have to write the address of the participant's place of business, where the tobacco products were withdrawn from circulation.

The rules do not apply to cases of wholesale sale of tobacco products to the EAEU member States.
